		<description>I usually stream-of-consciousness for about three or four paragraphs, then make an outline. Kind of like an explorer discovering new territory, then creating a map of what s/he has found. 

Have you tried other forms of brainstorming? Like creating a web, a timeline or word associations? I&#039;ve even drawn a picture of a house or a plant and organized my ideas inside the image.</description>
